Be a Considerate Hotel Guest

By following a few simple rules, you can make sure hotels hang out their "Poodles Welcome!" signs in years to come...

  • Don't bathe a dog in a hotel room
  • Do crate your dog
  • Exercise your dog only in designated areas
  • Pick up after your dog
  • Don't disturb others with noise - especially barking - in hallways or guest rooms.

Hotels are an extension of the show site and all AKC & PCA rules are enforced at both locations. Failure to observe these rules at hotels may lead to disciplinary action and/or being asked by the hotel to leave prior to the guest's scheduled departure date. AKC has ruled that clubs do not have to accept entries from irresponsible owners or handlers.


RV & Trailer Parking


Overnight parking in the paved lot at the rear of the Civic Center is permitted only for self-contained motor homes & travel trailers from 6:00pm SUNDAY through 10:00am SATURDAY, for a flat rate of $120.00 without electric & $180.00 with electric, regardless of time of arrival and/or departure. No parking will be saved for late arrivals. Limited electrical hookups are available on a first come, first served basis. Civic Center personnel recommends bringing at least 300' of electrical cord. Potable water is available on-site. Tank-pumping service will be available during the week for an additional charge. RVers are responsible for their own trash/refuse removal.

NEW This Year: All RVs arriving prior to 1:00 P.M. Sunday, April 21, 2013 will be temporarily staged in the vacant lot adjacent (LOOK FOR SIGN “PCA MOTOR HOME PARKING”). Please check in at DON ADAMS & JUDY COOKSEY MOTOR HOME for parking assignment, payment (if needed) and directions. ALL STAGED UNITS will be moved to “permanent parking” at approximately 1:00 P.M. as a unit, to be followed by subsequent arrivals.

Cargo Vans
Ryder Rentals, (410) 768-0480 has cargo vans for PCA Exhibitors, who are requested to make arrangements by April 11. Ryder is located in Glen Burnie, MD about 10 minutes from BWI by Airport Shuttle.
